Today the Horizon Landscape team arrived at 7am ready to continue the demolition of the current front overhang and stairs. The electrical conduit for the overhead light and outlet was cut down. The overhang came down and the saw cutting continued on the tile stairs and walkways. We are getting a view of our house we've never seen before.
When I got home this evening I noticed that the wires for the sprinkler controls that had gone under the exiting walkway had been cut in the excavation. And the irrigation pipe that goes from the sprinkler valve to the sprinklers at the east of the property had been cut in several places to make room for the column footings. We'll have to talk to Tom to see how best to reroute the pipes so that our plants don't die in the summer heat.
