5:58 am. It's still dark, but Eladio and the cement pumper are here. This is the day of the Big Cement Pour. First comes the installation of the last light well. Then plastic is laid at the edges of each form. Then the cement truck backs down the driveway ready to unload 6 yards of tinted concrete. The train is on the track. Look out. Here it comes.
In less than an hour the concrete had been poured. Now it is floating, scoring, smoothing. These guys are good.
